Hi guys, its been a while since I have been on, I have now moved into my new house, for the past 8 years I have used my mums Lloyds Cash Card to have my benefits paid into, now that I have moved house I am wondering it I should open a Co-op Cashminder account before going BR to set up direct debits for my utility bills or wait until after BR, I don't know when exactly I will be going BR but I know it will be sooner rather than later just trying to put my plan of action into place.

Hi karenj

I opened my co-op cashminder account prior to going bankrupt and set up all directs debits from that account. Everthing was Ok when i went bankrupt with that account and the OR had no interest in it. I would make sure that there is not much money in the account when you go bankrupt and you have enough money for essential living costs.
