 am i allowed to keep my halifax easy cash account?

am i allowed to keep my halifax easy cash account? its a basic bank account with no facilities

Hi bubbly1506

I wouldn't think they would let you keep it. I had an account with the Halifax (as well as debts) and when they found out I was bankrupt they sent me a letter stating that they did allow bankrupts to have accounts with them. I opened a Co-op cashminder account and it wasn't frozen when we went bankrupt so we could still access our money.

hi

Halifax said to me, once they hear about bankruptcy they will close all accounts including basic accounts, savings accounts and insurance policies, the branch said they dont, Ive never trusted the halifax or Lloyds
