I am thinking of applying for bankruptcy, but maybe going to university in september would this effect me gaining student bursaries?

Ho robert3 and welcome to the forum.

How old are you and what is your level of debt?

It may be worth while reviewing these with a debt councillor because it may be possible to manage the debts while at uni and with a better income afterwards you may be able to avoid going br.
