Ireally need to go br soon as i have at least 2 letters a day demanding money and threatening bailifs but i cant afford the fee's is there anyway i can get help with this or is there anythink i can ask the court to help me with ?

Depending on your situation, you may be entitled to a reduced fee.

The above may be of some guidance.

I would also suggest that letters threatening bailiffs, may only be a threat. If however you receive a Warrant of Execution, then you can expect a visit. However this can easily be defended!

How can this be defended, i went and spoke to cab yesterday and they couldnt advise me on what to do, they said if i go bankrupt the court will check my girlfriends finances and see if she is doing enough to help me and if she isnt she will have to pay more towards the bills and my wages will go to my creditors, but she already is skint after paying most of the bills and her own debts.

is this true ?

In bankruptcy, the Official Receiver will consider your girlfriend's CONTRIBUTION to the household expenses and not her total income.

She has an obligation to pay her own debts first, and the Official Receiver will consider this when looking at her monthly contribution. Experience tells me that in a situation such as yours, you have nothing to worry about!
