i usually earn around £260 per week, after rent etc im normally left with around £50-60, out of that how much am i allowed to keep following bankruptcy? thanks tim. |

The OR will look to take between 50 & 70% of any available income for the benefit of your creditors.
So if you have £50 left thats say £200 per month they would take maybe £100 leaving you £100.

it's not that simple I'm afraid. There is a good chance that you may not have included all allowable expenditures in bankruptcy when you listed everything.
Also some things you have listed may not be claimable. However as a guide, £55 per week equates to £238 disposable income per calendar month of which 50% would be claimed by the official receiver and you would retain the balance 50% for your own use. This arrangement would last for a maximum 36 months.
