My partner and I are going to court this Thursday to declare ourselves bankrupt.
This morning I received an email from someone we sold a puppy to (we used to breed dogs) saying they are forwarding a bill to us for treatment required by the pup following purchase. This bill runs into thousands of pounds.
We sold the pup as healthy, according to our vet, but the problem he has became apparent after purchase, but was definitely caused by a bite he sustained from his mother. Had we known problems would arise we would not have sold this dog.
What I want to know is, can we put this man who is chasing us for money down as a creditor? At the moment he is just making noises about taking us to court for the money but I have no doubt that he will follow up and will take us to court.
Can we name this man on our unsecured list?
