Have filled out the forms for expenses and stuff and emailed them to the company who are helping me file for BR. Still no charge for the service which is good. Makes me laugh you have to pay money to go BR(court fees) never mind - part of life I guess. Did feel very ashamed but am feeling more positive now and this forum has helped me alot so thanks - guess I have taken the first step to a debt free life!

I'm glad you're feeling more positive.

I know what you mean about being ashamed but there isn't any need to feel like that. None of us wanted to be in that situation, but it's happened, there's nothing we can do to change it, but we can learn from it. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi there 'lightattheendofthetunnel' have you booked your appointment yet with the Court? I only ask as some courts can be booked up for up to 4 weeks, while others can fit you in the next day

Skippy - just read all your blogs - was great to read them and hear the emotions you went through!

No i havent booked a court date, I meant I had filled in the informal forms for the company dealing with my BR as I am not in the UK or EU - guess this is the first baby step to being debt free and having my first proper nights sleep in 4 years!!
