Hi All,

BR soon - but its half term this week so I don't think the kids would fancy a trip to court to see "how things work"

I wondered if any one can offer advise on the folowing...

Going forward after BR I will remain self employed - my income is unpredicatable as I don't know what commission I will earn from one month to the next.

My wife is looking for work which we hope will cover rent/council tax etc. What happens to her tax code and for how long?

How will we calculate I&E - we know the E part as most of this is fixed - however the I part could vary from month to month...

Do you have rough figures? or figures from the past year? My income varies hugely from month to month, so the OR took a years income and then divided it by 12 to work out an average monthly figure.

Hi,

We have 2008 figures but the business has changed so much - this is why we are going BR - forecasting forward is impossible as we don't know whats around the corner in this environment - could earn nothing or we could earn thousands each month...

Guess I need to negotiate a sensible level both we and the OR can agree to.

Cheers

Tim
