hi can any one tell me how quick a credit check takes for renting as im about to go bankrupt but im waiting for my check to come back

hi, when we applied to rent our house we filled in forms on a saturday and moved in the week after on the sat so definitely within a week as i know the letting company did credit checks on us(going bankrupt in april).
