Hi all

I went bk on Mon 23 Mar 09. Following day I got a letter from some company saying sorry to hear about you recently being declared bankrupt, however we can help you cancel the bk, stop it going in the press, promise this, promise that etc. Shredded it! Just cant understand how they latched on so quick. I mean they had to have all my details the day I went bk and just wondered who gave them my details. So guess what? Yesterday another one arrived from the 'Bankruptcy Protection Fund Limited' based in Manchester. It really is quite annoying. These ones operate a no win, no fee policy and you get to keep your house, car, bk annulled, no unsecured debts, bk restrictions lifted and you go back to your pre-bk status. Sounds brilliant. I'm afraid it is just too good to be true and once again a sleazebag outfit praying on the vulnerable. Enough said.

Unfortunately parasites such as this trawl the Insolvency Register get your details and write out to you - you did the best thing and shredded it - enough said!

All these companies do is a remortgage which pays off your other creditors and leaves you in debt to them!

How on earth they think you can afford to pay them when you can't afford to pay the others is beyond me!

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

I don't own a house either so I don't know how they were going to help me!

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
