If I go bankrupt?? Is it just my credit rating that gets damaged or does it go on our council flat as a whole??

Hi

neither your husband or son should be affected by your bankrupt status. The old "blacklist" in relation to a bankrupt's address doesn't exist any more. However, it's possible, but by no means definite, that your husband's credit rating could be affected if there has been any previous joint borrowing.

If it was affected your husband can arrange, at a minimal cost of £2, to have himself "disassociated" from your credit rating and restore his own rating to it's correct position.
