Have you tried speaking to your IVA company to see if you can reduce the payments?

I don't really know how IVA's work, but I'm sure there will be an expert on soon who can give you more help than I can !!

Good luck.

Speak to your IP - explain your situation and request that they re look at the Income & Expenditure - Has anything changed outgoings wise or indeed income wise which makes the monthly payment difficult? Your IP should be able to go through this with you, try not being fobbed of with a case administrator, try to get to speak to the actual IP -In the practice I work for the IP's are always available to discuss ongoing cases - it may be that they will ring you back, but they will always speak - Not all companies offer this service, but it is your right to request to speak for them after all you have nominated them to deal with your IVA it is only fair you are able to discuss changes/situation with them
