i have a failed iva and it is going to court end of april for bankrupcy how can i save my bank account it is a basic easy cash account from halifax i have no overdraft but it is a debit card will this be taken off me?

that will be entirely down to the discretion of the Halifax. In my experience with them I'm afraid the account will be closed.

Try to open one with the Co-op. They are recommended as being BR friendly.

Both John and Kallis3 are correct. Halifax do not like opening accounts for bankrupts. I suggest that you go to the local Co-op branch and tell them that you are making yourself bankrupt. They will open an account for you and are unlikely to freeze the account when the OR informs them of your bankruptcy.
