Well, I have the call at 0900 hours tomorrow and have sat here looking at paperwork until I'm going word blind. Trying to anticipate their questions. However, there was one question I wanted to ask if anyone knows. I have declared two pensions, one is a final salary scheme which closed down nearly three years ago and the other is a small armed forces scheme which did not require me to contribute to. It is 14 years until I can start claiming them. My question is that as I am not paying into any pensions schemes and have not for several years, did I need to declare them in the first place? Any advice appreciated. I am assuming the OR will not force me to do anything with these. |

Yes, you were right to declare the pensions, and the OR shouldn't have any interest in them. I declared all mine and nothing was said about them.

Pensions are exempt in bankruptcy so the OR has no cliam on them, but you are right to 'disclose'
