Wondered if anyone can advise how long it is likely to take until my interview with OR. Went BR 31/03/09, and office is Leeds. Had initial chat with OR (who seemed very nice thankfully) 01/04/09, but heard nothing since, all bank accounts still open, in fact nothing has changed, and feel a bit in limbo.

I am in the same position went BR in Lancs on 31 /03 Initial interivew at Court was great, symapthetic and understanding and told to expect paperwork and date for interview in the next 2 weeks. Could not say whether face to face or telephone but implied telephone. still waiting but I am so relieved that I am BR now.

Hi Ripski
I was relieved, but now, daft as it sounds, I'm worried that I'm not worried enough !!! If that makes sense. Feel like it's all a bit too easy, and something nasty is waiting round the corner if I let my guard down. Perhaps I'm been a bit paranoid............

i went bankrupt on the 24/3/2009 and heard from the O.R. 2 days later. they where great and said that if they need to interview me they would be in touch. since then i received forms to sign and send back and on the letter they said that with the information they had they felt an interview was not appropriate but if they wished to interview me they would write and let me know!! cant believe my luck!! |

OMG now I'm jealous, just know I won't be that lucky. Was your debt relatively low? I ask as OR, though very nice, did indicate I would probably have to have face to face interview due to high level of debt. Unfortunately gave no timescales though, which is the part that's driving me mad........

Jayne, my interview took 2 months to come through, but I haven't seen anyone else on the boards having to wait that long! So, if you think that's the worst but hopefully earlier :)

I went BR 01/04 and i was given my telephone interview appointment date there and then (3 weeks later), and i was told they might contact me beforehand to let me know if they decide i don't need an interview. It must depend on the court and OR how long you wait for interview.

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurman) Life's too short!!! |
