Hi
My Husband and I have recently gone BR, I have had my call from the OR and my husband is having his on Thursday.
Does anyone know if they look at the Income and exp together for an IPA or separately.I had my call 3 weeks ago and have not yet heard anything.

Thank you

Hi

it's looked at seperately as far as income and jointly as far as expenditure, sort of.
Confused???? You're not alone.

The upshot is that one of you could have an IPA proposed while the other does not.

It will depend on who earns what percentage of the total income figure which is then applied at the same ratio to the expenditure figure.

Of course you may not wish to and I completely understand, but if you post your final expenditure claim figure, your net income, your husbands net income, any benefits, how much each benefit is and who the claimant is I may be able to help.
