You can either go with another company such as Reviva UK and they will help you with filling in the forms/completing the process or you will need to:

- Fill in forms 6.27 and 6.28. These can be done online at http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/doitonline/doitonlinemenu.htm. If you go to http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/FormFinder.do and enter the form numbers you will also find some guidance on completing the forms

- Contact your local court to make sure that you within their locality and find out the process for petitioning for BR. Some courts ask you to turn up on the day and others prefer you make an appointment - http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/

- You will need to pay £510 to petition for BR and take 3 copies of the 6.27 and 6.28 forms to the court with you. Do not sign the forms before you get to the court as they will be witnessed by the Bankruptcy Clerk.

- Once you have petitioned and the case has been heard by the Judge you will be declared BR and given a ref number, which you can pass on to your creditors if they continue to call.

- You will have an interview with the OR who will go through your expenses and if you have a disposable income of more than £99 per month you will need to pay an IPA.

There is more information about the process and other information at http://www.insolvencyhelpline.co.uk/

The process for filing for bankruptcy was designed to enable people to file their own petition - you do not need help from a company to make yourself bankrupt - some people chose to use 'assist'companies but the reality is you should be able to do this yourself - contact your local county court ask for the bankruptcy clerk and request a pack to file for bankruptcy be sent to you (all they will want is your name and address) whilst on the phone enquire as to their next available date and if possible book it as some courts are operating up to a 6 week delay. You complete the forms and take them along with the appropriate fee to the court ( it is best to take 2 additional photocopies of the forms with you) at the appropriate appointment date and time.
Following the court appointment you will be sent notice of a telephone appointment with the Official Receiver (unless you have been trading then a face to face interview will be arranged)

If you feel you cannot complete the forms yourself, your local Citizens Advice Bureau will complete them for you free of charge! and remember we are all here on the forum to answer any queries you may have

Hope this helps
