I am pretitioning for bankruptcy o 2/6/2009.I will lose my house. As i am going to give it up because it is to expensive,I have a mortgage and secured loan which cost me £1300 per month.I have found somewhere to rent which will cost me £575 per month. Will the court frown on my petition if i move before i go to court,or should i wait.

Hi davelvg

If you have managed to secure a rental property, then there is absolutely no issue with you moving prior the petitioning for bankruptcy. In fact it would be looked on favourably as you are trying to improve you overall position financially in reducing your housing costs.
