Don't worry (though I appreciate, that it's hard not too!) If the OR needs to speak with you or needs any information, they will be in touch, they are exceedingly busy, though that is not said as an excuse, but fact. Try nor to worry, everything is probably more than Ok which is why they have not been in touch

I had to wait 5 or 6 weeks for OR interview due to the back log. I know that we all want it done with and when there is a delay we automatically jump to" problem" but it will be due to backlog so do not panic.

Evening all, they must be busy but we are really desperate for information.

We went Bankrupt on the 6th October 2008
We saw the O.R. within 2 hours.

We recieved the Early Discharge forms around the 20th Feb 2009 and promptly completed them and returned them to the I.R.T.U.

We are still waiting some 11 weeks later for any news.

Ripski, I am confused..... do you get a 2nd interview with the O.R. if they grant Early Discharge ?

Cheers
Matt

Sleepless, I have no idea, I am new to all this and only went BR in March. I had a 15 minute t/c at Court and then a 40 minute T/c interview in early May. Had a shock today as gas anbd elctric wrote saying OR had informed them of BR and DD had been stopped so I have to find an alternative method of payment. If I do not pay due to having no money what would or could they do.
I am leaving my property in the next 4 weeks anyway. Advice please

Hi Sleeplessnights, hi Ripski. Ripski, were your gas and electric creditors? My OR has not asked for details of my provider? He did ask for mobile contract details though so they may cut me off but I have never missed payment with them so it will be their loss as they would then have to forfeit the contractual fee???? Sleepless nights, I havent read on other posts that you need another interview? I think you just have to fill out an up-to-date Income and Exp but I may be wrong, sure an expert will know.

Sorry Slippery, did not acknowledge you as original author of post. Sure you will hear soon. All seems to take a long time but reckon it all to do with it being the start of the new financial year.

Gas and electric were not creditors. I was asked about large DD mthly expense that I put down on I & E. The Or appeared satisfied when I said the figures were based on actual outgoings/bills It may be that she has contacted them to see if these were due to arrears but she did not know my account numbers or asked me. I will have to ring her I suppose to find out. To close the account there is a large gas amount owing What would happen if Ijust walked away, any ideas or should I inform OR and she may include this in the debt

Telephoned the OR today. They had not informed gas & electric and not their policy to do so. They thought they must have staff looking through Insolvency Register but had not heard of them doing this before. British Gas have not refused to supply me just stopped DD/mthly account which they class as credit. However this now means a massive bill.
OR did say that if I had been in arrears then the debt would have been included but I dont think it was

Crikey Ripski. Yep it could be just them looking at the register. I googled my old address to see whether it had gone to auction yet and blow me down there within the google pages was the London Gazette page with all my details on it. Scarey. The whole process just makes you feel bare doesn't it!!!
Best of luck.
