Hi i was involved in an accident a while back its jus about to pay up and my question is what do i need to do with what i recieve, Does the OR need to be informed and will he take that off me? its believed to be in the region 1.5k

I believe that if the compensation is due to injury then the OR is not allowed to take any of it so you should be able to keep the money.

If you receive a tax rebate or bonus at work, etc. then the OR can claim the amount to pay your creditors.
