Hi Alan
Do you have any of your old bank statements or cheque book you can get the figure from. If not, it won't matter too much if you can show you have been unable to pay them for the last six months.
If you live in a rental property it won't make any difference to the OR if you are paying the bills because you partner can't work, and presumably she is contributing what she can. It would only make a difference if she owns the property and you may be seen to be accruing a beneficial interest.

Your monthly payments aren't normally asked for as it is the total amount owed. You can find out the monthly payments from old bank statements if you paid them by DD. The total amount owned can be found out from one of the credit reference agencies (Experian/Equifax) as it should be listed on your credit file.
If you haven't been paying the loans/CCs for 6 months then the debts would probably have been handed off to debt collection agencies and these will normally send you a letter with the amount outstanding once they take over the debt.
You should also get some professional advice either from the CCCS, CAB, National Debtline or by selecting the 'experts' link on the left hand side of the page to speak to one of the professionals that frequents this board. |
