Hi

You can open one now, but many people have found it easier to open one after, as then there is no danger of it being frozen.

Hi julias36 as we are in this situation ourselves and already opened a new account i would defientely advise you to open a new account AFTER you have been made BR, and make sure you don't have any money left in the account on the date of your BR (trust me it saves a lot of whohar)!! good luck x
