Hi,

When I filled my my original I&E following BR, i put in the box for partners contribution her whole salary, and then also showed that she used it to pay of her own credit commitments.

I now have to submit an IPOQ due to a change in my salary.

Should I now correct this contribution error, and take her salary minus credit commitments, or do exactly the same as before?

Also, is it fair to increase a few of the costs due to increases in fuel costs, etc or best to leave them alone?

There is no problem in putting forward a request for increased expenditure, so long as this can be justified, and you ought to still show your partner's contribution to the household, which is her total salary less her personal commitments as you did in your original application.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
