Just had my OR interview, what a relief really nice girl and only lasted 20 mins.Didn't have to go through all my debts because I was in an iva for 2 years so creditors already have all the details. They are not counting my child benefit as income and said I won't get an ipa. They said my housekeeping was too high and would only only £420 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, I would have argued over this if I'd been getting ipa but no point as she said I was £300 short of paying ipa.Never questioned clothing, fares, holiday, personal care, mobile or appliance insurance, said wouldn't allow £25 for pet food only a contribution(didn't say how much). She was fine about my changed income just wants me to send 3 wageslips in in August.Said wouldn't be getting in touch with my employer, forgot to ask about landlord(but as its council property and lived her for 23 years and no rent arrears should be fine). Also forgot to ask about nil tax code, but presume that will be sorted when I send new wage slips in in August as tax will be a lot less than I put on soa.I can't believe it's done, still won't relax knowing me I'l be expecting them to phone and say they've made a mistake and I will get ipa.Thankyou for all your help, I really hope I can pay you all back by helping you through my experiences,I don't know what I'd have done without you all.Oh I have to send copies of my bankruptcy certificate to Barclays and Halifax (not sure what bit this is though) and I won't have to pay any of Halifax's charges. |

Well done, I told you it wouldn't be that bad. 20 mins is pretty good and not getting an IPA is big bonus as I know you were worried about it.
You can start to relax now and shouldn't hear from the OR again. |

Hoorahh! How wonderful for you that the OR interview is over. And I am sooo jealous that it was so short...perhaps my years in DMP might just about help.... I actually found myself waiting all day for 2pm to come and for your reply....I bet you are at least a little bit happier! Thanks for sharing your experience with the forum and keep writing.

This should have been given to you on the day that you were declared BR.
It will be form 6.30 and have 'Bankruptcy Order on Debtor's Petition' at the top of the page. There should also be a court stamp on the form. It will also have the court details, your details (these appear in the London Gazette) and the OR's office details at the bottom. |

Your welcome totaly lost I'm sure yours when it happens will go smoothly too,I will try and relax but my husband says I'm ever the drama queen, just waiting for something to go wrong.I asked OR 3 times if she was sure I wouldn't get ipa, think she thought I was a bit simple.I had visions of them questioning everything I had spent over last few months and quiring how much I had in my cashminder account and they didn't even ask, just said they would tell coop they had no interest in it.Didn't even ask me to send any bank statements from it ,hopefully they won't now, just said I would be automatically discharged on 18th 2010 if not before.I couldn't have done it without all of your help, thanks again. |

I really hope you dont get an IPA but we were told at interview that we would not get one but a fews days later, once the senior examiner had looked at our case, they rang up and told us they wanted one! |

ooooo I don't mean too, I just want you to be aware. I only truly relaxed once I was discharged, then I KNEW for sure that I would not get an IPA |

It's ok Jane, she did say though that even if they cut my housekeeping by £100 I'd still be £300 short of ipa, outgoings(with £100 HK cut)£1545,incomings (minus child benefit)£1240, surely they couldn't deduct another £300 off I/E. |
