 Hi.I`m on benefits and received DLA.

Hi.

I`m on benefits and received DLA. Just wanted to know if DLA should or can be included as income.

If your only income is benefits then these will not be classed as income for an IPA

IPA = Income Payment Agreement.

This is the monthly payment that you make if you have more than £99 disposable income each month.

Yeah as above, if after all your monthly living costs are paid for you have in excess of £99 then you make payments that go towards creditors for 3 year.

There are lots of things you can put down as essential living costs such as, dry cleaning, domestic break, tv licence, fuel, travel, rent/morgate and such.

But in your case if you are just on benefits then an IPA will not be paid
