i have a written agreement to pay someone any redundancy/severance pay to a debt i owe them .is there a time limit to this agreement or if say i took my redundancy in 10 years time could they turn up asking to be paid-thanks

It would depend what is stated in the agreement. Is there a time period mentioned? Who is the agreement with?

no time mention ,bought the lease for a pub off previous leeseee,lease now with someone else runs out in about 2 years time

Pub leases aren't something that I know about but there may be a 10 year life span to the lease. I will bump this up to the top of the forum and hopefully someone else will have some knowledge about this.
