 strange bankruptcy question re equity

once a property is sold for the equity what happens next,breif outline of the case the two of us were made bankrupt only i contest the order,so i applyed for anullment due to the bankruptcy was incorrect,my partner never contest the order but her debts have not been paid out of the equity is this normal as the trustees fees are high as the bankruptcy was for the exact samedebt as myself if hers is paid then is it just the trustees fees i owe thanks
