Hello. More advice needed please. I went BR October 08, 3 months after closing my shop. My accounts are all being held by the OR and I have now been transferred to the RTLU and all investigations have been done. I have just received a normal tax return form which I have done since being self-employed. I have 2 months left of my shop takings to declare as this fell in this tax year. My last tax bill of £500 which was due in Jan 09 was included as part of the BR. The OR wanted all the accounts including the last 2 months which have not declared yet as they were not due at that time. I was also put on nil tax code for approx 2 months but am on normal rate now. Do I put my business wind up takings which basically was a small amount which I used to pay debts and can I request my accounts back from the OR to complete the tax form or do I just declare my employment earnings since I was made BR. Thanks. Christine
