I owe British Gas £110 and am about to go bankrupt, but can't see anywhere on the Statement of Affairs where I would put this down? Is that because it doesn't go on there!? |

Hi ,
It would go in the 'unsecured lending' section of the S.O.A |

Utilities like Gas and Electricity are not taken into account for right off. You will have to repay these. However , if you visit the Citizens advice bureau there is a particular body set up to assist , ie. help pay off utility debts. Not sure what its called but i have just sent my forms off which have to include last 3 payslips if your working. Good luck |

I think it's only utility debts incurred after bankruptcy that can't be included isn't it?
The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Thanks for your help. So, to conclude, we have a majority vote that it CAN go on the S.O.A, but we're not 100%. I'll find out soon enough...
Thanks again.

I agree with the majority - it's an unsecured debt, and provided it was incurred before BR it is included.
