I owed around 30k debt all the house is on benefits and i care for my 2 disabled relatives, i paid numerous credit cards and bank loans for over 10 years before i just could not do it anylonger, i tried the CAB who offered all £1 per month, they all threatened the bailliffs and ccj orders, then i tried to set up a payplan and they said no it would have to be BR, i then tried to set up my own payplan and most refused saying i could pay more, kays catalouge wanted £40 less than i normally paid and to add 2k more onto an interest bearing account, i got a cancellation and the hearing Judge declared Bankruptcy, one of the creditors is phoning all the time stating i never did all i could and i really can afford the debt.
Mastercard section as good as said they would send someone round to sort me out.
can any of them get the BR cancelled ?
I told the truth and the OR accepted also i could not really repay all the house money.
we were living on rice.

You should get in touch with your OR and infrom him which creditors are still demanding payment. If any of them turn up on your doorstep phone the police as you are not allowed to make any payments to them when you have been declared BR.

You could also change your telephone number. Something I did to stop the hassle of the calls.

You are bankrupt - they can do nothing to you.

This is the call centre mentality and they will threaten with all sorts.

As Mick says - get in touch with the OR and inform them of what is happening.

Don't many any payments to them at all.

Good idea to change the phone number.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

When I had a persistent creditor I contacted my OR, and also sent a copy of my BR notice to the creditor, which seemed to stop them.

Don't worry, they can't have your BR overturned x
