I would love to be able to claim for the bank charges that were levied on me before my business went under...I'm now BR and cost HSBC about 59K, and credit card companies about 35k (all business related..) I think there is a 6 year limitation on this claim, so I could do it once I was released from BR.

I'm sure it wouldn't be possible but I'd LOVE to put one over on the banks now the Judge has ruled for the OFT regarding charges.

Cheeky I know!!!

It is unlikely that a post-bankruptcy claim would be possible for you Bear, as the whole debt has been written off in those proceedings - assuming that you still owed the same bank at that time.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
