Hi Everyone

My BR is due to end on 5th August can anyone tell me what happens on this date, does it just terminate or do I need to go down an IE and Bank Statement route again. Not sure what happens and what I need to do.

Thank you
Sue

Hi there - you don't need to do anything!
Do you already have an IPO in place? If not, nor are going to have an IPO you will hear no more - full stop. However if you do have an IPO in place you will still face the annual reviews until its completion

Other than that welldone! and good luck on a debt free furture!

Check the Insolvency Register on the 5th to check that it now shows you are discharged - http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/eiir/. Your details will still remain on the register for another 3 months but print off a couple of copies showing you are discharged.

You can get a discharge certificate from the court where you were declared BR, if you like, however this will cost you £60.

If you are automatically discharged then there is not need to submit another I&E but if you have an IPA then you still need to inform the OR/RTLU regarding any changes to your income until the IPA expires.

A couple of months after you have been discharged you can start to clean up your credit file - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=677875

Other than that it's just a case of putting the last 12 months behind you and living life as a 'real' person once again

Thank you, I have an IPA not an IPO so I can expect an automatic discharge.

I am so glad I found this site it has been my only source of information and advice since I started to go BR and it has been amazing going BR is actually one of the best moves I ever made and a much better option to an IVA.

Thank you everyone, only 3 weeks to go

Melanie, I've never had annual reviews for my IPA. It's been reassessed twice, both times because I asked for it to be as I'd moved house and had a pay cut.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
