Got my interview tomorrow with a guy from the Blackpool Office who sounded quite pleasant. Doesn't stop the nerves though. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect?
When I had my OR interview, it lasted about 1 hour. He went through all the info I had put of the BR forms then also asked questions regarding mine & my wifes recent employment history, (both of which were contributing factors to me going BR). Had a call back approx 4 hours later to "double check" 1 or 2 points which seems to be the norm judging by posts ive had from others on this forum. I too was nervous and although your interview isnt the final step, once mine was over I felt so much more at ease. Best of luck for tomorrow.
With my interview it was just a case of going through the SOA. Confirming my creditor information, how much debt I had with each creditor and when/why I took the credit out. Also what steps I had taken, if any, to get out of my financial situation. The OR confirmed that I would be able to keep my car to travel to/from work and we went through the I&E.
It took about 1 hour and I felt more relieved when it was over than I did when I walked out of court after being declared BR!
Does anyone know if they will discuss beneficial interest in my property tomorrow and if they will give me an indication of whether or not I will be able to keep my house. I am worried sick about this.
I asked the OR the question re. beneficial interest and was informed that they had conducted their own valuation of our house and could confirm from this that it was in negative equity. Therefore we will be given the first opportunity to buy back the BI once the OR becomes the trustee of my assets. (House only as I dont have any others!) Cant help any further yet as im waiting for OR to contact me about this.
