This is hard. I am probably going to go bankrupt. I have been suffering from depression and have attempted suicide a few times. I have pretty much left the running of my company to itself (ie ignored it) and now the bills have just got to the stage where I can't possibly pay them off.

I'm going to go to a CAB tomorrow to get some advice, but BR is loking like it isn't it.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

First of all I'm sorry to hear about your illness, and you've come to the right place for support.

Regarding your debts, there might be options other than BR. Do you have an income so that you could make payments to your creditors?

I would recommend you speak to an IP as they will be able to go over all of your options with you. Have a look at www.iva.com, where you can read reviews of many IPs, or have a look at the sister site www.iva.co.uk and contact one of the experts who post on there. They are all reputable and come highly recommended.

Whatever decision you take, make sure it's the best one for your health as that's the most important thing.

Good luck, and please keep posting to let us know how you're getting on x

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Welcome from me as well.

I totally agree with Skippy. Much better to speak to an Insovency Practitioner, rather than got the CAB.

You will get free and impartial advice and they will point you in the right direction.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
