Hi Thanks to everyone who replied to me. Just to let you know that I went bankrupt this morning. I went to the court at 9.45 was called in to see the judge at 10. She had already read my paperwork, She just asked if I had stopped gambling then signed the bankruptcy order. I hardley had time to sit down. So I would just like to say to everybody on here that it is not as bad as you think. I then went to the OR office handed in the paperwork and was told he will contact me in about two weeks. I was also told that I can open a new bank account tomorrow. So please everyone try not to worry. I was so scared I thought U was going to faint. But I promise it is not that Badxx

Thats great news, well done, hope the OR interview goes well do keep us posted and good luck with the bank accounts remember Coop and Barclays will accept you, HSBC, Nationwide and RBS Group review on a case by case basis and Thinkbanking, Clearcash, OneBanking and Evolution banking will accept you too.

Best of luck, and well done for getting on the first step of debt freedom.

Don't forget Secure Trust as well, there will be no problems with an account with them.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Congratulations T-H, just be honest during the OR's interview and what ever your circumstances/reasons for getting into your financial situation it won't be the first time the OR has heard it.
