Finally went bankrupt on Monday and it is only just sinking in two days later that 56.000 of debt is gone!!!!
I didn;t even have to go and see the judge..had to be there at 10am and handed in papers they then made up my file and I was taken to the court room to wait outside to be called but the usher came out and said They had been stamped and didnt need to go in!!
later that day had a phone call from assistant to OR to confirm details they then gave me date for telephone interveiw whichis next week...Ive been able to open a co-op acc but went to lloyds yest to find out what would happen to my acc and they said because it was already a basic acc then they wouldnt freeze it! so so far it has been a positive expirence!!I now feel like I can get my life back on track and other than a mortgague when i can get one!! i will never have debt again!!
thanks for the advice and support this site has given me!

So please to hear everything went off ok for you - most people really worry about how it will go but your experience is totally the norm.

Here's wishing you a happy and debt free future, it great when someone comes back onto the form to say positive comments it really does help others going through the process so on behalf of all my fellow experts and posters, a big thank you
