My husband and I declared bankruptcy in March this year and both recently filled in the forms for possible early discharge. My question is, Im applying to go to uni to do midwifery next september and need to know if the bankruptcy will effect my student loan application? I understand student loans are exempt from bankruptcy so are they different from personal loans? Thanks. x

Good luck with the ED.

Student loans are means tested so aren't affected by BR or your credit file and, as you say, they are also exempt from BR.
