Hiya

Br: 3/3/09, waiting on possible early discharge that could come any day now. Moving house next weds, obviously new property will have different suppliers for gas and electric, both metered to the best of my knowledge.

1: how difficult will the companies be when they set up my account?
2: will companies even let me have an account with them once they see I'm BR?
3: will they put me on a really high rate?
4: should I try and switch back to the companies I already have a good established history with?

wasnt expecting to need to move, so all very overwhelming atm.

thanks

Hi Sparkle,

It seems to me to be the best way to go is to see if you can port the suppliers to your new address? That may be one way of getting out of credit checks etc (you mention that - have you actually spoken to them?) That may be so simple and all you now need to do is pack!!

Good luck, Richard

no, not spoken to them as we havent signed tenancy agreement, so still waiting to discover who it is. I wonder if saying 'oh, I'll just go with a different company' may make them want to keep my business?
