Can anyone advise me on the discharge process? We have not heard anything from the OR since February when we gave up our house & moved into rented accommodation. Can he still propose an IPA after discharge? How will we know we are discharged, do we automatically become discharged 1 year from BR hearing?
Sorry a lot of questions, we have 12 days to go and I dread the post every day, worrying about an IPA!
Thanks |

Once you have been discharged an IPA cannot be put in place, and I don't think it could happen at this late stage.
You won't get any notification that you are discharged, but your entry on the insolvency register will change to show this. Make sure you print a copy of this as in a lot of cases it will do if you need proof of discharge and it's better than paying the court £65 for an official certificate! 3 months from your discharge date your details will drop off the register altogether.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi
When you gave up your house how did you do it, I'm so unsure about the process and keep repeating my self on this site but I am concerned. I have seen a lovely rental property, just waiting to see what amount would be needed as deposit because of the BR.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Congratulations on your Discharge, mine is up 26th Feb next year.
