I have been informed by a representative of CAB that my only option to deal with my debts of over £17,000.00 of which I cannot afford to pay as I only receive an income of £346 a month this being made up of Carers Allowance and Income Support.

Due to my financial situation I have not been able to pay any of my existing creditors and I have just recently had a car repossessed at present my creditors are threatening ccj - what I wish to ask is if I do end up with the CCJ's would I still be able to file for Bankruptcy

simply yes you can apply for bankruptcy if you have ccjs or defaults or any "black mark" against your name
good luck to you for the future
