Hi do creditors have a set amount of time to respond when the OR asks them if they have any objections to early discharge?

We recieved our letter 4 weeks ago saying they were going to apply for ED but have heard nothing yet. We were informed by our OR that once discharged they will not be informing us and to just check the register.

Thanks

Mick

Just read they have 28 days to respond with any objections for early discharge and then a further 7 days for any late objections.

Yep, 28 days plus 7 days for late objections so you should figure on 6-8 weeks from sending the EDREV letter back to the OR to hearing about ED. Also check on the Insolvency Register (http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/eiir/) as some people have mentioned they have been discharged early from looking at the Register but didn't receive confirmation from the OR.
