Hi all,
Just to say thanks again, went BR last Monday and OR interview tomorrow, this seems really quick compared to most of you, worried this might be a bad thing?? Any advive for interview other than just be completely open and honest? More worried about this than anything else to date, fingers crossed, thanks for the support and crucial advice provided by this forum, it really is priceless!

Cant answer your question Whatamess, but would like to add good luck for 2moro and let us know about your experience.

Hello Matt,
Best wishes for your interview with the OR.
I can only say, be open and honest (sorry!). But it is the best policy.
Whilst the OR is there to protect the intersts of your creditors, from my experience (so far) it has been that they will listen to you at the interview and make a (hopefully) fair judgment on the process so far as your case is concerned.
I am sure others may post with more "inspired" comments, but whatever happens I am sure your future will start to feel a bit better each day - the persistent calls will eventually stop and the pressure will also ease.
Regards, Richard

I was nervous and slightly scared of the OR interview but i was soon but at ease at the start of the interview. They do ask some open and frank question and they didnt pass judgement on anything i said. As soon as i put the phone down after the interview i felt like a massive weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I am now 3 weeks into my bankruptcy and i feel so much better for doing it. I dont get any more phone calls and for the first time in years i dont worry about my debt last thing at night. There is light at the end of the tunnel just need to be brave and make the right decision based on your circumstances. |
