Hi,

I pay £40.00 per month for my daughter to have school dinners and I spend £40.00 a month on meals at work, I have listed this on my SOA will this be accepted by the OR or does it have to come out of my disposable income? Also I spend about £60.00 per week on food / toilertries and cleaning products for me and my daughter will the OR accept this?

School meals are normally £2 per day so this should be ok.

£240 for the food for the two of you should be ok. The guideline is £200 for 1 adult and £289 for 1 adult/2 kids so you are right in the middle, which is ok.

You can see the guideline allowances at www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls
