Hi,

Looking for some advice please. I worked alot of hours overtime last month (not something which i had a choice in) and as such when i get paid in Nov will be looking at around an extra £500 in my wages......

Obviously i will need to let the OR know about this but can you tell me is he likely to take it all or a portion of it.

any advice is much appreciated

Cheers

I think they will take a percentage of it.

OK,

If it is a one off payment will they look at it as an asset? i have sent my trustee an email but just wandering what they will say

(need new brakes and clutch on the car so the cash would be handy) im on a nt IPA and have been advised that should not get any other ipa. so just wandering if they will take the lot ( i didnt have a choice in working the overtime, compulsory if you want to keep your job with my employer)

Obviously i accept that i am a bankrupt and should not be making an issue of these things but on the flip side its an extra weeks worth of hard work i had to do.

sorry to go on but it seems a grey area.

Hi Guvnor

Mick is right it is a % or what incentive would their be for you to work

If it is regular Overtime your income and expenditure may be recalculated.

Yes the OR must know about your overtime but also tell the OR about the repairs to your car (the vital car that you need on a daily basis to enable you to get to work) and see if you can get them on a good day they will want a cash payment but it may be less if they know about the car !

if it helps my wife ran / runs an ebay online shop, she was allowed to earn an income as long as the average profit did not go over #80 per month. anything over the 80 had to be referred to them

regards
