Hi All! Well after another sleepless night I thought I would "log" on to the forum and I have to say after reading all the above posts and being new to all this! The amount of support this forum gives is wonderful.I have been reading posts for some weeks before getting the courage to actually join!! SO glad I did We will be applying to Court end of the month and already have had several questions answered for me, for which I thank you!!
Just waiting now to be able to have a good night's sleep!! and get my panic attacks to stop! begin to have a life again and make new friends on here!!!
I am sure before our court date I will have many more questions that will be answered and give me some peace of mind!!

Hi, i know exactly how your feeling, its so hard and i dont know whats worse the constant money worries or the amount of forms for court and making sure they are correct.Trust me after its happened you will think why was i so worked up and you'll have the best nights sleep ever. Its so sureal as you get so used to worrying all the time, that after court and the OR interview you'll feel like a different person!!!My life has totally changed for the better and i can safely say it has been worth all the pre bankruptcy stress to get to where i am now.Just take each day as it comes and enjoy your debt free life xx Good luck and stay positive!!quote: Originally posted by wishfull

Wishfull let us know when your court date is confirmed so that we can give the needed support, I remember that time well. All seems a bit of an anti climax after. You'll wonder why you worried so much
jay81 When did you do BR, was it quite recent? Things have changed so much recently with the BI & DI guidelines that I know some of us are in different situations with payments & things. Always handy to have the support of others who are dealing with BR. |

I don't know where I would be without this forum. Wnet BR last Dec, have heard nothing yet, but am not worrying! My case was simple really in that I don't have assets but I can imagine it would be more so if i did so I don't want to make it sound easy. Debt was, for a good 5-7 years, the only thing I thought about, no fun and comparing myself with my peers. I should've gone to my doctors, but thought I could cope. One thing I kept tellin myself, if Lehman Bros could go BR, then little ol' me could. They're supposed to know about money! All I can say is, the worry has gone and I actually hear my laugh again and have hope. Good luck everybody, and thanks again to the fab experts who give their time, and to others who give wonderful support. We're not alone. |

you been on the GIN and Tonic already Glafy !
When you look at the list of celebs and famous people who have had to declare BR it takes all of the status away from it.
in actual fact it is a rather exclusive club.
some of the names on the list have gone on to make more than the money they had to declare BR for.
so that is it we are in an exclusive club, membership is only by appointment by a judge and we have all found ways not to make money so only needs a short change in direction (and luck)
next year Rodders we are going to be .....

Only a single G & T Richard but the sun WAS past the yard arm!!
You should supply us with a list of 'Famous' members of the newly started BR Club. I only know of Kerry Katona.
Maybe there should be a list of Judges too... Tee Hee.
I do like this club thing Richard, made me smile |
