Hello, please help. I have been reading the forum for a while.

I am going bankrupt, I solely own my home in negative equity. My friend has just gone bankrupt and she is the only one I've told so she has offered to buy the beneficial interest so as not to get any of my family involved.

Can she do this even though she is bankrupt?

Thanks

yes she can, anyone can, even yourself. If there was a lot of equity the OR might wonder where you got the money from but if buying it back for £1 then should be no problem
