hi there,

i shall be discharged on the 9th of january and was wondering if i will receive something official from the OR's office or in fact anything at all from them?

the 2nd point i just wanted to clarify is that once discharged can i literally earn as much as i like and have tons of money in the bank etc and i wont be under any risk of losing it?

thanks,
andy

Presuming you are talking about your 12 month Automatic dicharge, you will not receive anything from the OR. You can check the online register that will tick over at 12:00 am on the day of discharge.

After discharge you do not need to give any newly aquired assets over to the OR. If you are not in an IPA then you can earn as much as you like and no payments will be made. If you ae in IPA you are still duty bound to inform the OR of changes in income untill the IPA finishes

No, but they will have received a report several months ago to inform them of the bankruptcy and will know when it should be. They will receive a notice when the OR has finished dealing with the case, which may be before, at the same time, or after discharge

Your creditors won't be informed that you have been discharged but the debts that were included in the BR will fall off your credit file in 5 yrs.
