hi there,

i am discharged as of today but what now will show on my credit file in regards to the companies i owed money too? will they disappear or does it show up as resolved? or will i need to contact each company separately?

Congratulations on the discharge. Print a copy of the Insolvency Register page showing that you are discharged so you can provide this to creditors/banks in the future if required.

The link debtinfo provided has all of the details to clean up your credit file but I wouldn't get the credit files yet as it will take at least 1 month for the creditors to update their records. It may even be better to wait for 3 months. At this point your details will fall off the Insolvency Register and it will give the creditors enough time to update their records.
