Hi all. Just started to fill in forms. Somehow I stuck on first page. Debtors petition. Where is says about centre of main interests. I dont understand this. Also the part where you have to enter information on the court. The whole petition part is confusing me actually. Its prob simple but I cannot get my head round it at all. Really dont want to do it wrong in case they turn us away from court x

Do you know if the bankruptcy help line help over the phone with the forms or do they just give advice. Also where do yo put all the extra expenses and what type of things can you put down. It only states things like food rent and gas and electric. X
When you print the forms out there will be a box on the I&E section where you can enter other expenses (car tax, insurance, etc.). From what I remember this box doesn't appear when you are completing the forms in online so I just wrote the additional expenses on the form after printing it out.
The part I am stuck on is the 2nd page of the debtors petition not the actual big application form. Not sure whether I am supposed to circle answers or not. If I do this part in pencil will they let me alter it on the day. Its only 1 page.
Thank you so much. I was stuck on that bit. With regards to extra expenses that are not in application. Will it be ok to put then on page at the back for the extra information. I have been wondering also if I can put am allowance for hair cuts and dental treatment. Also ten pound a month for car maintenance.
Yes, you can put any additional information on the blank pages at the back. Hair cuts are allowed at £10 per adult and £5 per child. Medical/Dental is also ok at £10 unless you have been advised by a dentist that you need treatment or you have a repeat medical prescription in, which case you should be able to put a higher amount.
Is £10 for car maintenance enough? The yearly service for my car is £150 and any new parts (tyre, exhaust, etc.) is more on top of that so I would put £20 or £25 per month.
Thank you. Do you know what the food allowance and clothes allowance is for 2 adults and 1 child. I cant look at the guidelines because I am posting using internet on mobile.
