Normally when the OR is applying for an ED they will send you an IPOQ (I&E) form as part of the EDREV form. If you don't return this within 14 days then the OR will not continue with the ED process and you will have to wait until the 12 months are up for the AD (Automatic Discharge).

Do you not want to complete the I&E for an ED as you think you may now be liable for an IPA? If so, the RTLU/OR can send you an I&E form at any time before your discharge and may well send you one before your AD.

I don't understand this, so does this mean that if you are BR for the full 12 months you do not get an IPA/O?

You will be liable for an IPA anytime until you are discharged if your DI tops £99 per month. This will continue for 3 years.

If you have not been given an IPA before you are discharged, regardless of whether it is early or not, you will not receive one.

Hi. I got an ED letter this morning from my OR. I have a IP questionaire to fill out. Once I totalled my outgoings against the income I am left with £41 at the end of the month. Will I get put onto an IP as I dont work only my husband and we have 4 children?
thanks
Deb

If your DI is less than £100 then you won't be liable for an IPA.
